Old St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

Old St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

This magnificent 1888 deconsecrated Gothic Revival church, headquarters of the Jacksonville Historical Society, is a unique building in Jacksonville and also provides a perfect setting to officially start our lives together. This building was doomed to destruction, but saved by the local NFL team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. To find out how, please visit here: http://www.jaxhistory.com/headquarters.htm

The Garden Club of Jacksonville

Garden Club of Jacksonville

Founded in 1922, the Garden Club of Jacksonville has over 1400 members and is still growing. The club was formed for the education of its members and to help Jacksonville retain and enhance its natural botanical beauty. From park planning and tree planting by the original members to current members landscaping HabiJax houses, the Garden Club remains true to their original goals and Mission Statement. Overlooking the St. Johns River and surrounded by ancient oak trees, this was the perfect choice for our reception.
